Hey Friends, I sent out Fires Burn: The Cinderedge Soundtrack (Subtitle: Soft sounds and songs to die and get burned alive to). I am over the moon with how this turned out. Huge thank you to Si Rutherford for his incredible work on this. I truly believe having this in the background is the closest thing there can be to a "correct" way to play this game.
It should be in the same email you got your Survey in.
If you're an audiophile and can tell the difference, you can find the larger WAV files here. I could only distribute MP3s.
Production Update
I ran into my friend Matt Peck from London Pendragon, who is helping me with logistics, at GAMA, and he said everything is all green and looking good for production. This isnt time to unclench, yet, as getting stuff actually through customs and stateside is when I can confirm timelines, but it is still a good sign.

Samples have Arrived!

Hey all! Samples have arrived for the final eyeball inspection, and we're moving forward with production. I only had a few minor changes that don't require another sample. The biggest one (Pictured below) is that the insert was too tight... once the items came out it was hard to slot them back in.
I apologize for the potato quality photos, I have a very packed weekend and wanted to still get you an update =)
I believe we're still on track overall for June fulfillment, barring any production hiccups or freight delays.

Production Begins

Hey all! Quick update.
Just wanted to pop in and let you know we're still on track for the delivery date. While I was slightly behind in getting all the files prepped and finalized, we're still looking good. The reason that I don't predict any overall delays is that the Chinese New Year accounts for the big gap in my predicted schedule between December and March.
That said - all files have been submitted and we are working through final samples now.
I'll update in a couple of weeks or so once the samples arrive. Maybe with some pics, if theyre good enough.

I've noticed that many of you have already played and submitted your final messages at https://www.cinderedge.com. I just wanted to share a few of my favorites =)
The wards have fallen, my mind is lost, and now all I can do is watch the flames approach. Am I the last? Am I the first to fail? I'll never know. I only hope I held on long enough....

The fire has spread closer, but only to the point where I can just see its brightness over the height of the blackened trees. The insects have infested my ward for weeks now, not allowing me to tend to it, but I know it will not last another month. I can see more pieces of it crumble under the horde of pests that are spread on its facets and into its crevices. There are no available supplies left to sustain myself or the ward. I will not be much longer for this world and am mentally lost, but hopefully I have given enough time for those who come after...
